English/Japanese Translation Skills Needed
We need help communicating with English-speaking and Japanese-speaking clients and partners. Most of the work with clients and partners is via email. Some conversations on the phone with clients/partners is also needed.
This is a support job for a real estate related online business, doing work with media and marketing. If you can speak English/Japanese, we can provide training and instruction for everything else.
No Experience is Necessary
The position offers the opportunity to develop skills related to real estate, in marketing/online marketing, in international business, and to contribute to the growth of our websites. No experience in business is necessary – for the right candidate, we will provide training.
Remote Work/Flexible Hours
The position includes at least one or two online meetings every week. There will be occasional in-person meetings in downtown Osaka. Most work is remote work, and can be done from home. The position will require 5-15 hours per week, working 2 – 3 days a week (specific days and hours may be flexible).
If the employee can complete projects and is successful with their duties, an opportunity for ongoing work is available.

We are an online real estate consulting company. We currently operate a successful real estate related business, that is focused on Hokkaido (with headquarters in Sapporo). We manage a website popular with foreigners doing real estate transactions in Japan. The business was established in 2021, and has helped over 500 clients, from around the world, to complete real estate transactions.
We have many happy clients and partners. The website is growing and the business is successful.
DUTIES
This job will provide local, Osaka-based support to help produce content for the website, and will help coordinate marketing projects across a range of marketing tactics including public relations (PR), advertising, search engine optimization, web publishing, and more.
— Doing online research
— Communicating with local business partners to collect information
— Contacting Japanese/international companies about marketing projects
— Coordinating content projects
The company can provide instructions about how to perform these skills. No previous experience is required.
DESIRED SKILLS
— Speaking/writing in both English and Japanese
— Maintaining a list of projects
— Following up on assigned tasks
— Research skills
— Strong communication skills (especially email, with some phone calls)
TIMING
— We’d like to begin work ASAP
PHONE/COMPUTER are REQUIRED
— Employee must have a working phone, and will make some phone calls (the company will pay for all calls)
— Employee must have a portable, laptop computer in good working condition
COMPENSATION
— Employee will be paid an hourly wage of between ¥1150 – ¥1400 per hour
— Based on 5 – 15 hours of work per week, the position should pay approximately ¥20,000 – ¥90,000 per month
LOCATION: Available to Osaka Residents Only
— This position requires 1 – 2 online meetings each week (timing of those meetings may be flexible)
— Additional remote work is required
— Occasional in-person meetings in downtown Osaka will also be required
Employee should be available 5 – 15 hours of work is to be performed remotely each week.
